Turn a Docker image into a Pi that boots it.

Give us an image from Docker Hub or any registry. We add a kernel, the Pi's boot firmware and a small init, and hand back one file to flash. Power on the Pi and your container's app is running, with nothing else on the card.

What goes into the image

Your container supplies the software. We supply the parts a container borrows from its host.

Your files, untouched
Every file from your image, exactly as you built it.
Kernel and firmware
The official Raspberry Pi kernel, device trees and boot files for the model you choose.
A small init
Mounts the system, brings up the network and starts your image's own command.
Read-only root
Optional. Protects the card if the power is pulled, with scratch space kept in memory.
A data partition
Optional. A separate place for whatever your app needs to remember.
Wi-Fi
Optional. Enter it once and it's written into the image. We don't keep the password.

How it works

  1. Name your image

    Paste a reference such as ghcr.io/you/app:1.0. It needs to be built for 64-bit ARM.

  2. Choose your Pi

    Pick the model, and turn on a read-only root, a data partition or Wi-Fi if you want them.

  3. Flash and boot

    Download the file, write it with Raspberry Pi Imager, put the card or drive in your Pi and power it on.

We never run your image

We only unpack its files and read its start-up command. Nothing inside your image is executed on our servers.

Downloads are kept for 24 hours

Your image is deleted after that, so download it when it's ready.
